OP here — wow, did not expect this much response! Thank you all for the thoughtful replies on Creatine kinase.

To answer BethLabQueen: I get my labs done through Quest every 3 months.

Quick update: my latest labs came back even better. Thanks again for the evidence-based discussion — this is exactly why I posted in a science-based community. 🙏

I know this thread is old but I found it through search and wanted to add my experience with Creatine kinase since this was the most comprehensive discussion I could find.

15 months later, the information in this thread still holds up. My results have been even better than expected based on this discussion.

For anyone else finding this through search: the advice here is solid. Some of the vendor information may be outdated.

Yep. My endo said the same thing about Creatine kinase.

+1 to tony_orlando. Especially the point about "The first 6 weeks are the hardest..." — I have seen the same in my own experience with Creatine kinase.

I know this thread is old but I found it through search and wanted to add my experience with Creatine kinase since this was the most comprehensive discussion I could find.

12 months later, the information in this thread still holds up. My results have been consistent with the data shared here.

For anyone else finding this through search: the advice here is solid. The clinical trial landscape has evolved since then.
