Want to share my personal experience related to Step count challenge looking since I think it might help others in a similar situation.

I started my GLP-1 journey in October 2024 at 252 lbs with prediabetes and hypertension. My endocrinologist prescribed semaglutide 0.25mg to start.

Now, 8 months later: I am down 42 lbs, my labs have normalized, and I am off 2 of my 3 medications. The Step count challenge aspect specifically was something that made a big difference in my journey.

This community helped me every step of the way.

lucas_SP_BR — that is really helpful context on Step count challenge . Follow-up question: did you experience any side effects during this phase?

I am in a similar situation (about to start) and trying to set realistic expectations.

Want to share my personal experience related to Step count challenge looking since I think it might help others in a similar situation.

I started my GLP-1 journey in March 2025 at 269 lbs with metabolic syndrome. My telehealth provider prescribed semaglutide 0.25mg to start.

Now, 14 months later: I am down 49 lbs, my labs have normalized, and my sleep apnea has improved dramatically. The Step count challenge aspect specifically was something that made a big difference in my journey.

This forum was my go-to resource throughout.

Just wanted to say — for anyone reading this Step count challenge thread who is feeling discouraged: it gets better. The first few weeks are the hardest. Hang in there. 💪
